Special of the Day is a collaborative song production concept consisting of Melanie Scholtz, Karim Rachidi, and Tomas Jochmann based in London, New York, and Prague. This multi-cultural project harnesses its unique and eclectic sound from its diverse Central European and African heritage. Blending commercial and vintage styles seamlessly, they create from a point of inspiration and authenticity. There are no clearly defined roles as all three members bring their own one of a kind flavor and expertise whether it’s from a rhythmical, harmonic, or melodic perspective.
